A Widget is a preset desktop window focused on a type of information. You can select from a variety of widgets to display the information you need on the desktop.
Click 
to select and add a new widget to your desktop, as shown below.
Note that multiple widgets of the same type can be added to your desktop.
You can remove a widget from your desktop by clicking on its X in the upper right of the widget’s window. New widget windows are initially positioned at the bottom of your desktop. A new widget can then be dragged and dropped to the preferred location.
