STWeb is an online, browser-based platform. To begin working with STWeb the following items are required. All are normally provided by Sterling to new users in a welcome email.
System access is as easy as entering the URL in your browser, and entering your username and password at the prompts that appear, as shown below.
Upon successful login the STWeb desktop appears, which is described in detail below.
Demo account: Sterling can provide demo accounts to prospective users for use in assessing the system. The demo account includes access to real-time data and simulated order submission functionality. Contact Sterling Support ([email protected]) for further information. Note: Demo accounts are provided with delayed market data, not real-time data.
