The general function buttons that appear in the header on the right allow you to define general system configuration settings. These include:

Alerts – Click to add an automated on-screen alert, which is triggered by the parameters you define. Clicking the icon brings the New Alert window to the screen, shown below. Select either the Stock or Options tab. 
Enter the parameters in the fields to define the alert trigger conditions. Note the alert Expiration date field, which defaults to 24 hours. |

Restore – Click to restore the desktop layout to its default configuration. Note that a desktop restore can take 20+ seconds to complete. |

Help – Click to open a message form, where you can reach out to the Sterling Support team with questions or issues. |

Flag – Click to select from a list of supported languages for system display. |
 |
Unpin Header – Click to pin/unpin the Tab selections and the Marquee field from the desktop. |
 |
Lock layout – Click to lock/unlock the currently displayed desktop layout. |

Log off the STWeb platform. |
