You can custom code the coloring of your widgets, which can be useful in organizing and grouping your widgets on the desktop, as well as to “link” them by symbol. See the example below.
In the above example the Option Ticket window includes a yellow icon, while the Market Depth window is colored green. Clicking the icon opens the color selection bar (shown above), where you can define the color of the icon on that widget window.
Windows with the same color become linked by symbol entry. For example, say the Chart, Order Entry and MarketDepth widgets are all color-coded yellow. When, in any of these three widgets, you enter a symbol (say, IBM) all the other widget windows of that color will also update to IBM. Note that only "symbol-centric" windows allow this color coding.
