Features and Functions
STWeb provides a variety of trading features and functions, including:
- Visibility of orders and positions – Your stock and options orders and positions are readily displayed on the default desktop for rapid assessment. You can build multiple customized desktop tabs to meet your display preferences, and you can select from an array of preformatted widget windows to include on them.
- Rapid submission of orders – Several windows display current prices and order books, and most of these windows are equipped with hyperlinks that allow you to quickly trade with a minimum of keystrokes/clicks.
- Real-time market data – The pricing and order data displayed on the desktop is continuously updated with real-time exchange information from Sterling’s market data servers.
- Order routing – Your installation is outfitted with direct linkage to all the exchanges/trade platforms defined by your broker. When placing orders you always have the opportunity to select from your defined trading destinations/exchanges.
- Alerts – Custom alerts are easily set up that monitor in real time the symbol, pricing and conditions you define. And the method of notification (email, text, sound, etc.) is also defined by you.
